General Information

The western equine program provides young horsemen/women with the opportunity to gain experience with world class horse farms and training facilities mainly in the Western States. CAEP has a variety of equine hosts that are competing internationally in Western equine disciplines. The program consists of various sub categories, such as cutting, reining, working cow horse, veterinary technician training, western pleasure and guest/ dude ranch. Training in the equine industry is very demanding and requires a participant that is very dedicated to this field with basic experiences.
