General Information

Description:

The program provides applicants with the opportunity to gain experience with world class horse farms and training facilities throughout the United States. Training in the equine industry is very demanding and requires a participant that is very dedicated to this field with good basic knowledge of horses. Hours can be long and demanding depending on the needs of the horse, and placements are typically 6 work days per week.

CAEP has a variety of equine hosts that are competing internationally in various equine disciplines. The program consists of various sub categories, such as Thoroughbred breeding and racing, Standardbred racing, dressage, show jumping, eventing, dressage, driving, cutting, reining, veterinary technician training, polo and blacksmithing.
